Reynaers shines at Terhab towers!
Reynaers Aluminium has announced the completion of the luxurious Terhab Hotel & Residences, which accommodates a five-star hotel managed by Accor Hotels, in Al Taawun, Sharjah.
Comprising two towers, 30- and 40-storeys high respectively, the project encompasses a Pullman Hotel in addition to residential apartments and now boasts a striking façade featuring Reynaers systems, according to Ali Khalaf, Managing Director of Reynaers Middle East, the regional office of the leading Belgium-based aluminium solutions provider.
“The aesthetics and quality standards expected by this fine brand is fully met by the installation of Reynaers Aluminium’s high-performance, sophisticated and superior quality systems at this landmark, which is yet another signature tower project in the UAE that Reynaers Middle East had added to its portfolio,” Khalaf stated. The Terhab Hotel and Residences is developed by Manazil Real Estate, a leading developer in the UAE. The main products installed at the Sharjah towers are Reynaers’ highly popular curtainwall solution CW 50-SC and its robust sliding systems variant called CP 130. Reynaers’ aluminium curtain-walling offers a range of aesthetical solutions, such as different styles of face caps from horizontal to vertical lining, or structural glazing or clamping technologies to achieve a more minimalistic look. These solutions are available in different energy levels, from non-insulated to super-high insulating, suitable for passive construction.
The Terhab towers feature the curtainwall variant that comprises structural clamped glazing and allows for glass thicknesses ranging from 27 mm to 63 mm, offering enhanced design freedom and transparency, explained Khalaf.
Additionally, the CP 130 sliding variant installed boosts the versatility and elegance of the two towers, complementing their overall appearance and matching the exteriors and the interiors.
“Concept Patio 130 is a highly insulated slide and lift-slide system, which meets the highest requirements with regard to insulation, stability and safety. This robust system allows the construction of large and stable sliding windows and doors with a vent weight up to 300 kg. It also offers an aesthetic slim-line middle section. Moreover, CP 130 can comply with burglar resistance Class 2, offering a safe and secure solution,” added Khalaf.
